Pro Bono Consulting
Consulting Our Community
The Madison Consulting Club aims to support our community by providing free consulting support to nearby businesses, non-profits, and other organizations. Understanding the challenges of running a business, we offer pro-bono consulting services to extend a helping hand. By supporting Harrisonburg businesses and organizations, our consultants gain valuable industry experience, offering them the hands-on knowledge they need to excel in the consulting field. In exchange, we offer businesses tailored solutions, fresh insights, and innovative approaches to address specific challenges.
Professional Insights
Our students are eager to apply their knowledge to real-world business issues, bringing a new perspective to client challenges. Our consultants begin their time with the Madison Consulting Club by completing a 9-week education program, partnered with the consulting staff from EY, covering the basics of client etiquette, presentation creation, and more. This education model is used in undergraduate consulting organizations nationwide, and allows our consultants to take the knowledge they’ve gained and apply it to a wide variety of business needs.
pro-bono Work
Our consulting services are entirely complimentary, devoid of any fees or financial commitments. Our dedication to excellence in education and practical experience drives us to offer our expertise and insights. We firmly believe in the power of knowledge exchange and hands-on learning experiences. Clients not only gain access to a pool of talented and motivated students but also contribute to our learning journey. This commitment allows us to focus solely on delivering impactful solutions and driving positive outcomes for partnered businesses.
Minimal Time Investment
Recognizing the value of our clients time, our engagements are crafted to minimize disruption to day-to-day operations. The project begins with a brief conversation to delve into project specifics. Upon mutual agreement, the project involves an introductory call with our team followed by three structured checkpoints throughout the semester, along with an expectation of communication through email or phone call, as fit. This framework ensures streamlined collaboration while maintaining focus on company business objectives.
